ABOUT

The Kitchener Blues Festival is a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit organization that has been bringing live music to our community for more than 25 years.

We present a rich selection of blues music that is largely free to the public, while also supporting youth and emerging artists through Blues in Schools and our partnership with the Grand River Blues Society. We celebrate the artists who have contributed to the blues through the Mel Brown Awards, and this year we are proud to partner with the Waterloo Regional Health Network to help raise funds for its Music Therapy Program. Through music, mentorship, recognition, and community partnership, the Kitchener Blues Festival continues to make live music accessible, meaningful, and rooted in community.
